Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah welcomed Yemeni Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba during a meeting in Riyadh on Sunday, in a discussion focused on strengthening cooperation and supporting stability in Yemen and the wider region.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, Prince Faisal congratulated Dr. Al-Zouba on her appointment and expressed his hope that Saudi Arabia and Yemen would continue working closely together to advance their shared interests.
The meeting also highlighted Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to supporting the security and stability of Yemen. Both officials exchanged views on the latest regional developments and discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
